Why the name American Ruin?

We love experimenting with found objects, bones, fur and leather when making some of our more unique creations. We draw inspiration from industrial, post-Apo, gothic and Americana themes. Thus, we take items that were once abandoned or “ruined” and transform them into a one-of-a-kind treasures.

Do you use genuine leather?

We use the highest quality top grain and full grain leather. “Genuine leather” is to leather as particle board is to wood… It’s technically leather, but barely. For that reason, we avoid “genuine leather”.

What if I don’t have PayPal?

Can’t pay with Paypal? No problem! Shop our products on Etsy to pay with Credit or Debit card, as well as Google pay, Apple pay and Klarna. You can also Contact Us to order with our amazing customer service representative.

How long will my item take to ship?

We pride ourselves in our ability to fulfill all orders within 3-5 days. Domestic shipping is free, and shipping times vary by location. Expedited shipping options are available at checkout.

What if I need to cancel or return my purchase?

Cancellations may be requested within 24 hours of purchase. Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns unless your item arrives damaged or defective. Refunds will be issued upon receipt of damaged or defective product. Contact us at americanruin@gmail.com with any questions.
